“PEEPING TOM” CAUGHT

ONE MONTH'S IMPRISONMENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Owing to annoyance by a “Peeping Tom,” a number of residents of Naenae, Lower Hutt, formed, a vigilance committee and on Sunday night caught the culprit peering through a window. They caught him after a He was John Te Roa Raroa (28), a labourer, residing at the Public Works camp. The police told the Court when he appeared charged with being on enclosed premises that he had a bad record, including a conviction for assault on a female. He was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment.
