TINWALD STOCK MARKET Prices at the Tinwald stock sale today were firmer than at the previous sale, particularly for shorn ewes. The yarding was smaller than usual for a Tinwald sale, but the entry was sufficient to meet buyers’ requirements. Shorn ewes ranged from 15s to ISs for medium quality and up to 23s 10d for prime. Ewes in the wool brought from 19s IQd to 27s 4d. There was a good entry of hoggets, shorn wether hoggets making up to 36s lOd. Shorn wethers brought from 21s Id to 34s lOd.
