SPECIAL AWARDS AT METHVEN Special awards at the collie dog trials held at Methven were: —Winner of open huntaway (class 1): D. Ensor’s Joe; Todhunter Challenger Cup for county musterer with best three-dog team (one heading, two huntaways): D. Ensor’s Tweed, Lloyd, and Joe; Publicans’ Cup for district maiden dog scoring most'points in classes II and III: J. E. Grigg’s Glen. Cup to competitor scoring most points at trials with dogs that have never won first or second prize in open events before the start of trials: W. A. Grieve’s Pryde and Pat; Ashburton County Collie Club’s Perpetual Shield to open heading dog scoring most points in both heading events: J. Radcliffe’s Bob; special prize for maiden competitor scoring most points at trial (points to be scored in huntway class to qualify) : D. Ensor’s Joe and T*tveed.
