(Rec. 1.30 p.m.) CHUNGKING, June2B The High Command announced that the Chinese, battling for Liuchow, seized part of the former American airfield south of the city and captured a railway station in tlie western suburbs of the city. Reinforced Japanese troops counterattacked south-east of the city, but were repulsed. The Japanese have withdrawn further north along the Chekiang coastal highway from Wanchow.
