The seed market is relatively quiet, recent wet weather having held up deliveries from the country. The quantity of red and white clover to come in is doubtful, as rain has probably affected standing crops. Should the present fine weather hold, probably some farmers will make an'attempt to get some saved. Wheat prices now include the Id increment for June. Quotations are: White Clover—Up to 3s per lb, depending on quality. Cocksfoot—2s per lb. Cowgrass—2s to 2s 3(1 per lb. Chaff—£6 10s to £6 15s. Oats—Gartons 3s 8d a bushel, Algerians up to 5s Gd,, depending on quality, Duns up to 6s 6d, black oats up to os Gd a bushel. Lupins—Nominal quotations 4s 6d to 5s a bushel. Malting Barley—Schedule prices 5s 2d ex stook; 5s 6d ex stack. Linseed—Contract price £25 a ton. Wheat—Schedule prices: Tuscan and Cross 7,6 s 8-id, Hunters 6s 10id a bushel. Potatoes—F.a.q. Whites and Dakotas £7 15s a ton, Suttons and King Edward £8 5s a ton, f.o.b.s.i. Onions—£l3 a ton, 0.t., s.i. PIGS AND POULTRY.
