THE TINWALD STOCK MARKET. Prices at the Tinwald stock market yesterday became considerably firmer as the sale advanced and better quality sheep were offered. Fat ewes on account of A. W. Watson (Pendarves) brought 26s lOd and 25s 7d, and three on account of a client brought 27s lOd. Six 2-tooths brought 34s 7d. Concluding sales were: Fat Ewes—Six 2-tooths at 34s 7d, 2 at 22s 4d, 3; at 27s lOd, 6 at 22s Id, 7 at 22s lOd, 9 at 21s lOd, 10' at 20s 4d, 17 at 19s 7d, 106 at 18s Id, 3 at 20s 4d.

Fat Lambs—7o at 25s lOd, 44 at 28s lOd.

Freezers—4B ewes at 18s Id. 127 lambs at 20s, 70 lambs at 255, 58 do. at 23s lQd, 44 do. at 28s Id, 126 do. at 2os Id, 80 do. at 26s Id. AUCKLAND WOOL CHEQUE. (P.A.) AUCKLAND, May 29. A record wool cheque of £2,278,610, proceeds of the sale of 117,752 bales, has been distributed in the Auckland Province this season. Last season 110,407 bales were handled, representing a total value of £2,098,583. The average price a bale w'as £l9 6s Sd, compared with £IS 19s 9d last season. The season’s aggregate was reached by the recent payment of £276,151 for 15,111 bales, valued at the sixth and final appraisal last month. At this appraisal the total weight of wool was 5,372,7091 b, the average price a bale was £IS 5s 6d, and the price per lb 12.33 d. THE SHARE MARKET.
