(Rec. 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, May 29. ■ Nearly 55,000 liberated prisoners of war and deportees returned to France last* week-end. , , L Five thousand marched through the heart of Paris to-day in a noisy but orderly demonstration protesting against the announcement that only those who lost all their . possessions were entitled to a free suit of clothes. The liberated prisoners marched into a big 'store dressed in striped prison clothes. They seized clothing and told the salesmen to send the bill to the Minister for Prisoners. .The crowd supported the prisoners, who made off with the clothes.
