PROFIT ON SHOW.

CHRYSANTHEMUM DISPLAY. The nett profit on the recent chrysanthemum show at Hampstead was £ll4 4s, according to the balancesheet presented at a meeting of the Show Committee last evening. The sum will be divided equally between the Hampstead Memorial Society and the East School Coirjnittee. A motion of sympathy with Mrs Clayton, in the loss of her brother, was carried in silence. Thanks were expressed to Mr H. Hayward for organising a-concert at night, to the judges and to the Salvation Army Band for their work at the show. The question of a cash donation by Mr R. Inch for a collection and study of weeds for the next show was left to Messrs Inch and S. G. Maefarlane and the chairman (Mr J. Hitchins).
