BRITAIN ACCUSED.
DIPLOMATIC INTERFERENCE. (Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 27. The Russian newspaper “Pravda publishes articles accusing Britain and America of “diplomatic interference” in supporting Field-Marshal Sir Harold Alexander (Commander-in-Gliiei in Italy) in the recent Trieste dispute, reports the Moscow correspondent of the Associated Press. This is the second successive day the press has given attention to the Trieste question. The special correspondent of “Pravda” described the dispute “as “one of the most malicious themes” of the foreign press, singling out particularly the British “Economist,” the “New York Times,” and the Baltimore “Sun” for their editorial attacks against Yugoslavia. The article declared that Yugoslavia had earned full right and proper estimation of her contribution to victory in the Mediterranean.
