BOXING.
SOUTHEE BEATS KITCHEN. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 14. Boxing confidently and showing improved ringcraft, Fred Southee (Wellington) proved too rugged for Johnny Kitchen (Auckland) in a professional contest staged by the Wellington Boxing Association a,t, the Town Hall tonight. Southee took the decision by a technical knock-out at the opening of the sixth round.
