New Zealand Expeditionary Force casualty lists issued on Tuesday report 13 men killed in action, 250 wounded, and three died of wounds. 1 One man from Ashburton is killed in action and another is wounded. DEATH OF ASHBURTON MAN. An air casualty list mentions one man died of natural causes, one dangerously ill and one seriously injured. Born at Ashburton 34 years ago, lie was l educated at the Borough Primary and the Ashburton High Schools. lie took his first position at the Railway Garage and then transferred to the Ohristohuioi branch of Ford Motors.
