AIR COMMODORE.

YOUNG NEW ZEALANDER’S POST. (Rec. 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 30. Air Commodore H. D. McGregor, a New Zealander, has been appointed Air Officer commanding in the Levant in succession to Air Commodore Coleman. Air Commodore McGregor, who is aged 34, is one of the youngest officers to hold air rank. He was in command of a squadron during the battle of Britain and was a member of the special staff which drew up plans for the invasion of Europe.
