RED CROSS SOCIETY.
A JUNIOR BRANCH AT EIFFELTON Subsequent to addresses by Mrs F. Curtis (chairman of the Mid-Canter-bury Centre of the Red Cross Society) and Dr. W. G. Todd, the children of the Eiffelton School formed a branch of the Junior Red Cross. There Avere about 50 children and several parents present at the meeting. Officers Avere elected as folloAv: President, Beverley Taylor; vice-presi-dents, Muriel Thompson and Laurie Thomas; secretary, Marie« Clark; treasurer, Ngaire Daly; committee, Virginia Grigg, Madaline McQuilkin, Doreen Clarke, Bernadette Prendergast, Robert Moore, Raymond Patterson, and Geoffery Reid.
