Galbraith) reported at the Borough Council meeting last evening that the debit balance at the bank was £1279. v The invitation of the Fire Brigade to attend the annual social was accepted. Valedictory.—At the termination of the meeting of the Ashburton Technical School Teachers’ Association yes? terdaw afternoon, opportunity was taken by the staff to farewell the Dir- . ector (Mr A. L. Moore), who is shortly to take up a position as Principal of the New Plymouth Technical College and Supervisor of Technical Education in Taranaki.
