ENEMY SHIPS SUNK.
(Rec. 9.30 a.m.) CHUNGKING, May 5. Liberators on Wednesday sank a 4000-ton freighter in ah attack on a convoy of six ships in the South China Sea, states General Stilwell’s communique. Later an enemy ship of 900 tons was sunk ir> the same area. Warhawks damaged railway yards and destroyed a railway bridge in Indo-China.
