LODGE MEETING.
COURT ASHBURTON, A.O.F. Court Ashburton, A.0.F., held its quarterly meeting last evening, P.D.C.R. Bro. W. S. Kerr presiding in the absence of the C.R. (Bro. Scarumell), who is indisposed. Rick-pay amounting to £lB was passed in favour of 12 members. A grant of £3 3s from the Benevolent Fund was made to a member.
Letters of thanks for gift parcels were received from members of the forces.
Officers, elected were: C,R., Bro. A. P. Rattray; S.C.R., Bro. P. J. Thomson; S.W., Bro. E. J. Hampton; J.W., Bro. J. A. Rollinson; 5.8., Bro. C. H. Amos; J. 8., Bro. O. Glassey; Minute Secretary, Bro. R. W. Crowther; Treasurer, Bro. W. S. Kerr, P.D.C.R.; Secretary, Bro. W. H. Amos. The installation will take place next Court night. The next meeting will be on January 17, when the anniversary social will be held. After the meeting a social hour, with supper, was held.
