PUBLIC NOTICES. FARM PROPERTIES FOR DISCHARGED SERVICEMEN. IN order to be in a better position to assist returned servicemen to settle on the land the State Advances Corporation of New Zealand has instituted a Register for the purpose of recording such properties as may be offered for sale by owners. It is desired to make it clear that the Corporation is not buying properties for rehabilitation purposes; the object is to obtain as wide a selection as possible of sound one-man farms which can be quoted to servicemen seeking information on this subject. The type of property sought is a fully developed farm with sufficient production and scope to make it economically suited for successful working by the average competent farmer. Offers of properties will be accepted from owners, only. Intending sellers are asked to submit details of their farms, including cash price required, to the undersigned:— D. S.
