WOMEN’S INSTITUTE.

MOUNT SOMERS MEETING. The Mount Somers Women’s Institute at its monthly meeting carried a motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mrs J. Hood, members standing in silence. Arrangements were made for a dance and bring and buy stall to-day in aid of the funds. The roll call was cooking hints.

A small gift and posy was presented to Mrs I-I. Alexander on the occasion of her golden wedding. Miss D. M. Petrie presided and the hostesses were Mesdames S. Lilley and W. Comyns.
