L “H ' DERBY WINNER SOLD. / It is reported that the New Zealand berby winner, Bonny Bridge, has been sold by Mr. G. Aitcheson to Messrs M. S. Turton and J. F. Grant, for a sum approaching four figures. Bonny Bridge is a brown colt by Grattan Loyal from a great race mare in Bonny Logan, and his win in the Derby showed him to be of good raeing temperament and a real stayer. He- came through a steady preparation for the Derby, and though he started twice last year without gainiag a place, he has contested five races as a three-year-old for one win, two thirds, and £B7O in stakes. Messrs Turton and Grant are well known through the pacer Fine Art, who raced in their interests.
