LODGE MEETING.

The election of officers for the ensuing term was held at the quarterly summoned meeting of the Loyal Ashburton Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., last evening, the N.G. (P.G. Bro. E. H. Childs) presiding. Sick pay amounting to £3l 5s was passed in favour of 24 members. The election resulted: —N.G., Bro. J. Kirk; V.G., Bro. A. J. Baker; E.S., P.G. Bro. W. K. Waters; L.M., P.G. Bro. R. H. Loy. One candidate was nominated.
