The Siamese, aroused by maltreatment by the Japanese, are now ready to help the Allies to expel the Japanese from Thailand, says the United Press, quoting a Chinese report from Bangkok. Since March,. when serious disturbances broke out, many minor pitched battles have been fought between the peasants and Japanese soldiers. Anti-Japanese incidents are occurring daily.
Even the Premier, Song Gram, now has doubts of a Japanese victory, and discounts the Japanese promises, co?isequently the Japanese recently admonished him for his defeatist attitude.
