LOOTING IN ROME.

(Rec. 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 11. The Rome radio reports: ‘ Communists armed with rifles and handgrenades last night attempted to loot a food depot and clothing store in Rome. When challenged, the Communists opened fire and threw grenades. Nineteen were arrested and appeared before a military' tribunal, -when six were sentenced to death and one to life imprisonment. Six were imprisoned for 30 years, one for 24 years, and two for six years.
