SIX DESTROYED
ENEMY AIRCRAFT DOWNED. THREE ALLIED PLANES MISSING. OFFENSIVE OPERATIONS. (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright.) (Rec., 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 8. Six enemy aircraft were destroyed by aircraft of the Fighter Command in offensive operations to-day. Two Royal Air Force planes are missing, but one pilot is safe.
