SUBMARINE WARFARE.
NEW WEAPONS AND DEVICES. INTENTION BY GERMANY. (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. S. U-boats with new weapons and devices will bring about a naval war greater than anything yet witnessed declared Admiral Doenitz (Command-er-in-Chief of the German Navy) in a speech in Berlin. He said: “It is my firm fanatical intention to carry on the war against enemy tonnage to the highest level of perfection with all the means at our disposal.”
