HEAT WAVE IN EGYPT.

CAIRO, October 5. After an unusually temperate summer, New Zealand troops in the Cairo area, suffered a minor heat wave recently. They had more than three days with the temperature the highest recorded this year—ll 9 degrees. A feature has been the heavy atmospheric pressure with electric disturbances, and, unusual for this time of the year, several heavy rain showers.
