LEFT IN FLAMES.
ENEMY CRUISER OFF ITALY. ONE SMALL VESSEL SUNK. (Roc. 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 25. An enemy cruiser was successfully attacked by Allied aircraft yesterday, according to a communique issued in North Africa. “Fighter-bombers of the North African Air Force yesterday attacked railway communications at Sapri, Sabari and Castrovillari, m Southern Italy,” says the communique. An enemy cruiser off the south coast of Italy was also attacked by fighterbombers, two hits being scored and the vessel left in flames. - “Attacks on motor transport near Reggio were made by figlitcr-bombors during the day. “Night bombers last night attacked the marshalling yards and steel works at Torre Annunbiati, near Naples. “In attacks on enemy shipping yesterday one small vessel was sunk and two others .left in a sinking condition.
