SUPPLIES OF BLANKETS
AVAILABLE FOR SERVICEMEN. Arrangements’are completed whereby returned servicemen can obtain blankets without delay, on presentation t.o a retailer of a certificate signed by the secretary of any branch of the Returned Services’ Association or a rehabilitation officer of the National Service Department. Advice to this effect, has been received by_ the Aslr burton Returned Services’ Association following urgent representations by the Dominion Headquarters of Ilie. Association to the- Rationing Control' lor (Mr J. E. Thomas). Certificates should set out the number and size of the blankets required, and the name oftlie retailer. If difficulty is experienced ill obtaining Iheii’ requirements in a reasonable time, servicemen should inform tiie Rationing Controller of the number and size of the blankets and the name of tlie retailer concerned and blankets will be made available immediately.
