ENGINEER’S STATEMENT.
Sir, —I wish to add my voice to that of your correspondent, “Burst Cistern,” and to endorse his sentiments, also to express my disapproval of tlie Borough Engineer’s high-handed treatment of “Burst Cistern’s” letter. Will the Borough Council be responsible for damage incurred by a burst pipe while permission is awaited to turn the stop-cock off? NEX.
