GERMAN TECHNICIANS

ARRIVAL IN JAPAN REPORTED. CHUNGKING, July G. Chinese military sources say that German technicians have been arriving in increasing numbers in Japan, to accelerate aircraft and shipping production, in exchange for rubber and scarce metals, which are transported to Germany in large cargo-sub-marines. The United Press of America says many of these submarines have been sighted in the Indian Ocean, but they have not attacked shipping. Chinese observers say that the first German Messerschmitt 109 fighters have appeared over China, and that the fire-power of Japanese aeroplanes has increased, indicating improvement by German experts.
