AIRMAN HONOURED.

Tu spite of wintry conditions there was a representative gathering of friends and residents of the LowcliffeColdstream districts at a social in Jionour of Aircraftman A. Bond in the Lowcliffe School. Presentations wore made on hehalf of the Soldiers’ Comforts Committee by Air H. Price, the local branch of the Women’s Institute by Aliss F. Tait, and the residents of the districts by Mr E. Cross. Mr ]). Mcßae also spoke. The evening was spent in a. 000 card tournament and dancing. '1 he winners of the cards were Miss Ford and Mr Reddecliffc. Music for dancing was played by Miss F. McTvay. All C. McKay was master of ceremonies.
