FIFTY YEARB SYNE. (From the “Guardian,” July 8, 1893). Twentieth anniversary of the Oddfellows.—The twentieth anniversary of the Ashburton Oddfellows was celebrated* last evening by a tea and a social in the Oddfellows’ Hall. Tho affair- was a thorough the building being packed for both tea and social. After tea, the hall was cleared for dancing, which was continued without intermission till the small hours of the morning. TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO. (From the “Guardian,” July 8, 1918).
