A New Zealand Typhoon squadron, escorting Tpplioon bombers to tlie Abbeville airfield 1 , destroyed two Focke Wulf 190’s. bringing the squadrons score to 194. The Focke Wulfs were shot down by Squadron-Leader Desmond Scott, D.F.C. and Bar, of Greymouth, and Flight-Lieutenant Arthur Umbeis. of Dunedin, whose totals aie 71 and U ' respectively.
