SUN SHINES THROUGH CLOUDS.
Although the sun shone at Ashburton to-day, the sky Avas clouded. A frost of 1.4 degrees Avas measured this morning.
The maximum thermometer recorded 71 degrees this morning, against G 7.3 on Tuesday, The minimum Avas 36.9 (31.2).
The barometer measured 29.81 inches this morning, from 29.61 yesterday.
