TO DISOBEY GERMANS.
OPPOSITION TO RECENT DECREE,

Dr. G orb randy (president of tlie Council of the Netherlands Ministry in London), in a further broadcast to-day, called on tlie Dutch not to obey tlie Germans, especially in connection with the recent decree ordering rc-imprison-ment of all Dutch soldiers taken prisoner after the German invasion but later released, and lie appealed to the entire population to do everything to prevent the sureess of the deeree and to help prospective victims. Dr. Gerbrandy emphasised that this was not a call to general armed resistance, and added: “When the moment for that comes the. Netherlands Government will let you know in a manner which ( cannot be mistaken. For tbe moment the most important thing is to resist only the German attempt on Holland's able-bodied men. The Queen and her Government count upon the full co-operation and willingness to make sacrifices and the determination of all Notherlanders.” —British Official Wireless.
