Magic Lantern Entertainment—Another magic lantern entertainment was given by Afr H. R. Wilkinson on Monday night at. St. Stephen’s Schoolroom. There was a good attendance, consisting largely of adults. To-night Air Wilkinson gives his exhibition at Willowby, and to-morrow night at Wakanui.

The Lighting of the Overhead Bridge “A few weeks ago the “Guardian” directed attention to the matter of inadequate lighting on the railway overhead bridge at the southern end of the platform. Tho defect is now being, remedied. The Department’s staff is at present engaged placing electric lights at each of the approaches and at each corner of tho bridge platform.
