Killings at the Ashburton Municipal Abattoir during April showed a sub stantial all-round increase over tie* figures for the corresponding month last year. Following are the dcta/ls with the figures for 1912 in parentheses: Cattle. 117 (133); calves, 3 (4); sheep. 1111 (840); lambs, 209 (81 > ; pigs, 87 (62).
