AMBULANCE BRIGADE.
There was a fair attendance at the monthly meeting of the Ashburton Nursing Division of the. St. John Ambulance Brigade, presided over by the Lady Superintendent (Mrs D. McLean). The nursing officer (Mrs W. Bray) gave an instructive lecture on inlantile paralysis, giving details of the symptoms and treatment of the disease. Prior to the business meeting an hour was spent in practical work.
