LONDON, April 29,

M. Pierre Veinot, who was Under* Secretary for Foreign Affairs in M. Leon Blum’s French Cabinet in 193637. and who recently reached England from France, has revealed that 31. Paul Reynaud, the former French Prime Minister, is imprisoned in tho Portelat fortress in the Pyrenees. His cell is 10.ift x 41ft, and it is so damp that the walls run with water. The sunshine never enters M. Reynaud’s exercise yard, which is 20 yards square. M. Vienot added: “What misery, but what moral courage M. Reynaud shows.
