AERIAL MINING.

RECORD SCALE BY THE BRITISH.

VALUE AGAINST U-BOATS. (Rec. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, April 29. The Royal Air Force is carrying out mining operations on a record scale, reports the aviation correspondent of the Press Association. These operations are of immense importance in relation to the war against U-boats, also to the Russian front. The Baltic is a great training ground for submarines and their crews. It is known that our mining has hampered this work. The Baltic is also a scene of great activity in preparation for the next phase of the war on the eastern front.
