TWENTY-ONE IN AUSTRIA

Twenty-one Austrians were sentenced to death in April for high treason, says the Independent French Agency. They were charged with publishing and distributing anti-German propaganda and organising sabotage trßops. This brings the number of Austrians executed since the end of November to 138, counting only those whose death sentences have been published.
