SUSPENDED SENTENCE

THEFT OF APPLES ADMITTED, Pleading guilty to having stolen apples valued at 2s, the property of a neighbour, John C. Kemp, aged 68, of Church Street, was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within three months, when he appeared before Messrs A. H. Fenn and E. H. Orr, Justices of the Peace, yesterday afternoon.

According td the police, Kemp had previously been warned by his neighbour to leave the apples alone.
