FLYING PRINCE.

OVER EIGHTH ARMY LINES. Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands recently returned to London, .after an extended flight which took him from Washington to Brazil, thence to the West Coast of Africa and on to Cairo, and back over the lines of the British Bth Army in Tunisia. Throughout the flight he co-piloted the machine, which was a bomber destined for the Royal Netherlands Navy. After visiting Princess Juliana in Canada and their youngest daughter, Margrict, ho paid a visit to President Roosevelt. In Brazil he was the guest of the Government, and in Cairo his host was the Air Chief of the Middle East, Sir Sholto Douglas. His last two days in Africa he spent at General Eisenhower’s headquarters, .and then he flew on to England where the bomber was safely 7 delivered at its destination.
