ATTACKS ON COAST AND ISLAND.

LONDON, January, 25

A communique received from India today reports a raid by the Royal Air Force on the aerodrome at Shwetoi, ’in Upper Burma, last night. All the bombs fell in the dispersal areas. Enemy-occupied villages on Akyab Island were also bombed! . Yesterday Royal Air Force patrol,te attacked enemy shipping on' the Arakan coast and damaged buildings on land. No aircraft are missing from these attacks. Last night « squadron of Hurricanes madte a series of attacks oil; the Prome area n Lower Burma, the first raid to be made by fighters on this district.
