A COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED.
MID-CANTERBURY BODY. / A committee has been established for the furtherance of the Army education scheme in Mid-Canterbury, it comprises Dr. J. Connor (the Mayor), Mr T. W. McKinnon (i,he Engineer m charge of Public Works in tho Ashburton District), Miss A. L. Grubb, of the Methven District High School, Mr A. A. McDonald, Mr W. S. Kerr and Mr W. Crawford. Mr Stanley Smith has been appointed regional convener. < This committee will hold its first meeting next Saturday evening.
