AMERICAN PLANE CRASHES.

Major-General Harold Georg© (Officer Commanding Air Command) has announced that an Army transport aeroplane crashed near the coast of Dutch Guiana oh January 15 en route for overseas. Twenty-six passengers and nine of the cr©w were killed. They included Major Eric Knight, the well-known author of the best-selling new novel, “This Above All,” Mr P. E. Foxworth, of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Mr William Hodson, and Mr O. L. Henryson, both of the State Department, were among the victims. The others were mostly military officers. There were no survivors.
