INCIDENT AT DANCE.

AN ADMISSION TO HOSPITAL. Men in uniform encroaching on the dancing space at the Radiant Hall on New Year’s Eve caused a slight disturbance, When the proprietor remonstrated with them, the men became fractious and began climbing on one another’s shouldei’s and pulling down the paper streamers used as decorations.

After the constable on duty had been summoned and entered the premises there was no further trouble but subsequently one of the men .concerned in the incident, who is understood to be a returned soldier suffering from shell-shock and the effects of bombing in Tobruk, collapsed and was admitted to the Ashburton Public Hospital.
