MISSIONARY UNION.

THE HINDS PRESBYTERIANS. The bi-monthly meeting of the Hinds Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union and Guild was held in the Lowcliffe Church. Mrs Tait (vice-presi-dent) presided over a small attendance and conducted the opening devotions.

A letter of interest was received from Major A. iS. Sutherland, of India.

It was decided to hold the next meeting on Thursday, December 3, t,o take the form of a garden party at the residence of Mrs L. Moore, Lynnford. The hostesses were Mesdames Smyth and Clarke.
