ST. JAMES THEATRE. Packed with clever and witty dialogue and hilarious situations “The Feminine Touch” will bo shown finally to-night at the St. Janies Theatre. There is trouble in the high sierras again, and “Hopalong,” Cassidy rides to action and adventure in straightening it out in the latest of the popular Cassidy series: of outdoor action romances, “Doomed Caravan,” which shows to-morrow night and at two sessions on Friday. Taking for its theme the famous waggon trains of the old west, “Doomed Caravan” tells the story of a frontiers woman, played by Minna Gombell, who owns a freighting business and who intends to keep it running despite the .ambitions of a rival who stops at nothing to run her out of business. The second big picture mixes comedy with gay music. It is “You’re The One,” with Bonnie Baker, Orrin Tucker and his orchestra in top roles, telling the story of whgt happens when a brunette singer goes blonde in order to achieve fame as the singing star with a band. The brunette who goes blonde is Wee Bonnie Baker, making her film debut with Orrin Tucker in the picture. Most of the story takes place withiii the slightly mad confines of a weight-reducing sauitorium, run in night club style. Chapter 5 of “Sky Raiders” will bo shown to-morrow night and -at the matinee on Saturday.
