OBITUARY.
MR GEORGE A. PERRY. (P.A.) HOKITIKA, This Day. Mr George Albert Perry, 0.8. E., Mayor of Hokitika for the last 31 years, died after a short illness, aged 70. Mr Perry filled many public positions, including that of chairman of the Harbour Board, member of the Westland Education Board and Borough Council, president of the Hokitika Savings Bland and chairman of the Patriotic Council. He leaves a widow' and adult family.
