SOME RAIDING IN BRITAIN. HOUSES SLIGHTLY DAMAGED. (Roc. 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, March 5. The Air Ministry states that Royal Air Force fighters yesterday destroyed an enemy fighter near the coast of France. There was some enemy activity near the coast of 'East Anglia and a few bombs were dropped, but caused no damage and no casualties. A single raider last night dropped bombs near the coast of south-west England. No one was hurt, but some houses were slightly damaged.—British Official Wireless.

SMALL NUMBER KILLED. ONE BOMBER SHOT DOWN. (Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON.. March 5. It is officially stated that this afternoon enemy aircraft dropped bombs on points on the south coast. A small number of persons were killed and some damage was done. It is now known that an enemy bomber was destroyed off the east coast by anti-aircraft fire yesterday afternoon.—British Official Wireless.
